The R4 Flash Card will only work on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite and will not work for the Nintendo DSi. 

All Flash Cards need Micro SD Memory to function. Beware of cheap imitation products or other wise known as clones. Clones are reported to have a significant failure rate, and evidence suggests that they have been responsible for damaging Nintendo DS Consoles.
