New model Nintendo Wii’s have no "Security Chip"
In an continual effort by Nintendo to make there Nintendo Wii consoles unmodifiable, their new models have no security chip installed. Once again this makes the job of modifying the NIntendo wii increasingly more difficult.

Nintendo has again made it more difficult to install modhcips. The hardware in the new models is slightly different. They have removed a weakness in the DVD drive, which allows modchips to operate. There are still products available that allow modifications to performed.
